How long after interviews are conducted are nominees usually notified? I know it hasn't even been a week yet, but my interview was on the fourth, and I'm wondering how long it will probably be before I learn if I received that nomination.

There is not set time. It depends on the MOC. Some may have a series of interviews and will wait until the end to make notifications.

If you're really anxious, call/email your MOC's SA point person and ask the date by which notifications will be made.

I had my interview today and the letter scheduling the interview said we would know by January 22nd.

I was notified 3 days afterward that I was the prin. Alts heard in a week. Then again that is in ND where we only had ~30 applicants

+1 usna.

The fact is unless you want to know about your MOC, usna's option or asking posters here from your district are the only 2 routes to go IMPHO.

Our DS received all 3 MOC noms when he went through the process.
Sen 1. Interviewed him on Sat. and the Congrats letter was in the mailbox on Tuesday.
Sen 2. Did not interview, the application was due Oct. 15th, and the Congrats letter was in the mailbox before Thanksgiving.
Cong. Did not interview, the application was due Sept 30th, and the nom showed up on his portal end of Jan. Never received a letter.

As you can see, just for our DS, he had 3 different results. Asking how long without stating your MOCs, chances are you are going to have different answers, with no bearing on how it will impact you personally regarding what you would like to know for your future.

As has been noted...depends on where you live Lillian. We're in Ohio and DS had his senatorial interviews in September and November. They informs us that they "coordinate" with each other and candidates won't hear anything until perhaps mid-January. On the other hand, he had congressman interview just yesterday and was told flat out that he would know by end of this month.

The common theme, and the operative word, for all candidates (and just us parents) is patience followed by a little more patience and then just a bit more patience.

Enjoy you holiday season, count your blessings and let us know how you make out. Good luck!
