You are triple qualified, you have stacked ACT and SAT scores, you were NOT sent a LOE, that whole bit, but...
You can't get a nomination. Say you applied to your congressman, who nominated you to something else, and you applied to your senators, only one of whom interviewed you, and consequently did not nominate you. You also applied to the VP, but for this scenario, he didn't nominate you, either. If you have a really competitive record, but fail to get nominated, what happens? Is it off to MAPS with you?
