Its been two weeks since the second board. Do you think we will hear back this week sometime or will it be later?

I bet you'll hear sometime this week. Last board, they sent emails to everyone who got the scholarship at like 2:30 pm on a weekday.

do you get an email only if you recieved a scholarship?

People almost always only receive a negative reply after the final board. Be working on plans B, C, and D.

How do we know that there have only been two boards? Can that be right? The Navy has usually had a half dozen ROTC boards by January hasn't it? What am I missing? Has sequestration or something else delayed boards that much? How many more boards are expected to occur? Anybody know if the Navy is devoting resources to catch up? Any information appreciated. (I will add that my son's recruiter says that he usually has about 35% of his apps receive scholarships, but that he's only had ten out of 175 who had received scholarships as of end of December--so he's expecting the "dam to break loose soon." For what that's worth.)

There's always only 3 boards in the Army, and they almost always are around the same time period. But in reality none of us here (except clarksonarmy maybe) know what's going on!

I'm stressing

I'm anxiously waiting for the 2nd board results too for the Army ROTC scholarship and Navy ROTC scholarship. I want to go to The Citadel but I'm out of state so this would be a dream come true..... I heard you will know when the board results are out because everyone will be talking about them all over service academy forums haha:confused:

You won't find out if you got it to The Citadel until a few days after the initial board results come out. So just be patient! I know it's hard though...

What were your stats?

3.9 GPA, 29 ACT composite, top 20% of class, 2 years varsity Tennis, 2 years JV football, National Honor Society member and elected officer, 3 year Business Professionals of America member. PFA: 54 push ups, 56 sit ups, 6:34 mile. Interviewed at Purdue and it went really well!
