Has anybody that lives in Texas received any notifications about AROTC Scholarships yet. I saw that people on here were getting notifications but i haven't received one saying that i did or didn't get the scholarship yet.
 
Have you checked the "status" section of your web based scholarship application? That's where the notices have been posted. What does your "status" say?

If you received a scholarship, your status flag (yellow box near the top right of the screen) will say "Winner" rather than "Boarded." Also, on the file upload tab, you will be able to see a copy of your scholarship winner letter. It will be listed under "Other" and will probably be titled, "lastname, last 4 of SS#, Winner" or something similar.

My portal shows winner and Ive recieved a call from one schools and the Colonel detailed my offer at his school (and seemed to know my offer at the other school? Would that be normal?). But there is still no letter in my portal which makes me worried.

Yea i just checked it still just says Boarded. Does this mean that i just gotta keep waiting to find out if i got it or not?

So does this mean that i am not gonna get a notification telling me that i didn't make it this time? Are they just gonna keep me in the dark?

My Scholarship got boarded on Jan 6th

Since you were boarded in time for the 2nd board but not awarded a scholarship, your position on the OML has been rolled over to the 3rd board. You won't hear anything until after that board meets in March -- probably 2-3 weeks afterwards. But the good news is that you are still in the running for a scholarship.

The process ends after the third board. Until you receive an offer you will be in the same place as every other applicant. If you think that's the dark you should have been going through the process a couple years ago. I would say applicants this year have never been better informed.
