DS interviewed with the PMS of the local college (one of his school choices) in early December 2013. The application status website still shows him as an "interviewee", rather than "board ready". I understand that the info on the website is probably not "real time" but can anyone tell me if a 6 week lag seems unusual? The PMS has told him that all is well, but we are starting to get a little worried.

You need to check the actual application portal at:
https://hs.usarmyrotc.com/dana-na/auth/url_35/welcome.cgi
It has a "Selection Status" tab which will indicate your DS's status; e.g. "Boarded," etc. My DS's status site said he could "schedule a PMS interview" long after he was actually boarded and already on the OML.
Thanks, but the mystery continues! I went to the actual application site and clicked on the "selection status" tab. It shows he is an "interviewee" even though he completed his interview about 6-7 weeks ago. Any idea how long it will take for the site to reflect that he is ready for the next step (which I believe is "board ready").

If you (or DS) have spoken with the PMS's office already, and he/she said the interview has been submitted to Cadet Command, then you might want to contact Cadet Command at Ft. Knox to confirm that they received the PMS interview. Has everything else already been completed and submitted? If so, I would think they site would already reflect that he is "board ready." CC can confirm that, though. Good luck!

In the past one would stay in interviewee status until offered a scholarship. It's just designates that you have completed the application. a ROO can check your status in the system we call CCIMS and tell you if there is anything missing. A ROO can also tell you if you have been boarded or not.
