For those of you already appointed (or parents), what do you do about the fingerprints? Also, has anybody had problems with e-qip? I can't seem to register due to some error with my social security number.

You will be mailing the fingerprints back to WP. There should have been an addressed envelope with the address in your packet. Your portal will then update to show that the fingerprints are received. You should receive an email link next week (2/21) authorizing you to access equip assuming that your fingerprints are received.

What packet are you referring to?

Packet

You should have got a packet from the security office at WP. In it are two fingerprint cards, instructions, and a return envelope. Read the instructions (USE BLACK INK). Call a local MP station if one is near (mine would not do it for DD). If not, call your local law enforcement office and they can help. Don't believe their websites or voicemail. Talk to a real person.

I never received that packet. I guess I need to send some emails.

EQIP

Just hold on for a week or two. Only a third of your class has even been accepted, plenty of time for USMA to do their job.

Cadet85, how long has it been since you received your BFE? West Point does indeed miss a CC every now and then when it comes to sending out appointment packets after acceptance. It happened to my cadet!

I received my BFE on 1/14/2014, but I think I will be waiting another week or two before I start worrying like the others have said. Thank you all for the advice!
