Admission Board

The Admissions Board meets every Tuesday. To the best of my knowledge that has not changed.

I am just wondering because my DD got her waiver today. Hoping that means she is getting an appointment.

Well, I believe competitive winners will get their appointments either this week or next. So if she fits that bill then expect to hear word within 2 weeks.

Yes, getting a waiver is a sign that they think that you will be worth the risk of the disqualified condition as a cadet and a future US Army officer. Also, for what its worth, my Admissions officer told me that a wave of offers were mailed out last Thursday. I received my BFE today.

It was posted on the DODMERB status checker website. It was also posted on my USMA portal several weeks later. Make sure that you are in contact with your admissions officer about your waiver. Ask him/her when they submitted it to the waiver authority. They could give you a better idea about the timeframe.

Congratulation on your appointment! If you don't mind me asking, what kind of nom did you receive? principle, competitive, ROTC or service related? Also if you were MOC nominated, do you know which one will be charged with your appointment? Just gauging my DS odds... Thanks

It was a competitive nom. My local congressmen will be charged with the appointment. It was not based off of the NWL if that's what you mean.
