Sanity Returns

Uh oh, now everyone will know what a huge turd I am since I can't roll cammie sleeves properly.

LOL. It was always an impressive look to me. Don't know if the kid has any mastery but I'm sure like all things it will come with time. I think he'll be glad to hear the news.

In all fairness, Marines have a pretty dumb way of rolling up their sleeves. There are some more useful ways out there.

Now if we can just get these young Marines to shine boots, shine brass, and starch and press cammies then things might return to normal

Funny - I was going to bring this up but thought I would be chastised for being an "old fart".

I honestly wonder what the new breed does with all its time. When I think of how much time we spent on our uniforms I figure these guys must have an extra couple of hours each day! They are probably spending it in safety, health and welfare briefs instead!

It has been said that a man rolling up his sleeves for the bare forearm look is the male equivalent of cleavage.

Funny, I have known cadets/officers to tailor their cadet shirts/BDU to make them "look" better.

Thank God for that! I thought that was what the young guys with their baggies hanging down that I have to stand behind in line at McDonalds were going for!

As I understand it, a certain 1stLt I know is spending much more time on the bicep excercises getting ready for 9 March. As far as starch and creases, I know that his get steamed so the lay flat and have no wrinkles. Brass and shoes are shinny on Bravo/Charley Friday. Does that count?
