Has anyone received a TWE yet?

I was just wondering if any of you on here have received a rejection letter from the academy yet. I was unfortunately unsuccessful in obtaining a nomination to the USNA, yet I still have not been declined. Do they not send the TWE's until sometime in March/April?

We read that everyone that even started an application will receive notification of some sort by April 15th.

Got one today from USNA. We were not surprised as we have had no contact from USNA and West Point has asked for additional information. Yesterday he got his acceptence from #1 civilian school and son is happy if it comes to that.
I think the long process is good because we asked son if he wanted to go to a Prep on our dime and he said no, so in my mind he doesn't want it that bad and I'm glad we know. The BGO that we met is first class and now a friend.
I'll take the same attitude if he gets declined from West Point.

So sorry to hear about your son. I wish the best for him wherever he ends up.
I just checked the mail and I still have yet to receive any notification. I suppose it is only a matter of time.

I also wish the best to your DS. At this point I hope that acceptance letters from civilian colleges will arrive before TWE.

Thanks for the good wishes. One of the reasons we are not crushed like others is son applied for NROTC and the blue and gold officer contacted us about the USNA so it wasn't his idea but he was certainly interested. After he looked into the SA's further he thought the Army might be a better fit. After reading how badly some of the kids here want the appointment I'm happy for them. Every person we have met from both the Army and the BG officer have been first class and we are better off having met them.
