Is Anyone Still Waiting?

The Admission committee meets tomorrow (Tuesdays). Maybe something will move after that.

Funny, one of the correspondences ( probably her 3Q letter) she received from USMA says that the "majority" of appointments will go out after 28 Feb...but according to some reliable posters here, it looks like the majority has already gone out and we are down to the last 150 or so (not counting prepsters...we have a son at USMAPS right now too) from the NWL. Lots of conflicting info. Back in the Stone Age, when I was in the Army, we used to say "The Army never lies...the truth just keeps changing."
 
My DS is waiting too; you are not alone. When you are from a competitive district and you are not the winner, you just sit tight and hope for the best (and make sure plans B and C are in place).

Still waiting.. LOE 2 noms. It's weird because, as far as I know, no one has received an offer from my district.

Letter carrier threatening restraining order at our house. No LOE... 3 noms... no news... tension is brutal...
 
We have stopped waiting....it is simply too hard. Wonderful Plan B in place so concentrating on that. And if the mailman just happens to bring that elusive BFE....
 
Waiting too. I think it will get better when we will hear from Plan B, C and D.
 
Got several calls from a DC line that turned out to be a telemarketer...

I remember I used to sit by the mailbox during the time frame the post office would come, and even recognize the difference between the sounds of UPS/FedEx trucks and the post office ones (well I work in retail and shipping, but anyway). Good times! :thumb:

For anyone overly anxious, nothing more then to just play the waiting game and stay positive.

Talking to the Admissions people - I expect at least 200 offers will go out within the next week. Many of these will be from Congressional Districts that used competitive nominations (no Principle appointments).
A few offers from people with Principle Appointments are being delayed pending the outcome of medical waivers.
By the end of March about 90%+(estimate) of the class will be filled.
 
So, they have not started assigning appointments from the NWL yet?
