DD is a junior in HS with the following math track:
Year 9- Algebra (Honors)
Year 10-Geometry (honors)
Year 11- Algebra 2(honors)
Year 12-College Algebra and Trig (dual credit college course)
She was going to take a Trig course at the local college over the summer so that she could take Calc 1 and Calc 2 her senior year. Thought this would look good on application and better prepare her for USNA.
She was accepted into NASS and Girls State which are the first two weeks of June. The problem is that the college class starts the first week of June. She can't do both.
She is faced with the decision of having to skip NASS and girls state to take the class. I think I know how to counsel her, but wanted some more experienced advice.
