For the applicants that applied to both the USNA & USAFA, and are still waiting and have not received a TWE or BFE from either SA, nor any other information from MOC or B&G officer (simply still on the island and in the dark) this week may be a big one. It might be interesting to share updates for these applications, just for the fun of it. What is your plan B? Good luck to those in this situation as is DS, who is doing well with the wait and has plan B NROTC, but still hopes to go to an Academy. Just wondering how many on this island.:wink:
 
DS is on this same island. Last Friday, he finally received a NROTC scholarship so now we can breathe a bit easier as his goal to be an officer is going to be a reality one way or another.

From what our ALO told us awhile ago, he does not expect USAFA to come through, but USNA just got interesting yesterday when the appointee from our congressional district decided to go to USMA instead. Could mean nothing...or something. So we continue to wait and will be visiting the NROTC unit on Weds.

I'm still waiting as well! Plan B is NROTC college programming at a 4 year university. Have not heard any appointments from my senators let alone my district representative for USNA, I have heard of 1 for USAFA.
 
Got into USAFA (heard last week), got into USMA (got mailed appointment on Saturday), still waiting to hear from USNA. Navy is my first choice so I am praying I get in!!

no news today

continue on the island. The USAFA ALO said positive comments, but no certainities. Wait, pray & hope.
 
Still awaiting word from USAFA. Appointed to NAPS. Plan B is UT Arlington on a full ride.

I'm on the island as well, waiting on USAFA and USNA still.

USCGA is a solid plan B, though! I still even consider it Plan A. The goal for me is an Academy, so I'm already fortunate enough. But man, USNA and USAFA would be good. :)
 
what does your B&G officer say?

do you get any feedback from your B&G officer?

DS checked USAFA portal and TWE. Waiting on USNA. Best wishes to everyone.
