Appointments/Prep School

Hey everyone it's been awhile,

I was wondering for those of you (mostly Prior Enlisted) that
did not get Direct entry but got an Appointment to the Prep school,
How long was it from when you found out you did not get Direct?
I haven't had any word (like a good chunk of people here) and I'm just
wondering what kind of situations can happen.

Some updates from the last time I posted...
I was selected to fly out to USAFA through the LEAD DVP last Nov and they
took the trouble of fully paying and flying me from Overseas.
Also, I got BTZ, testing for Staff this month and was able to get my Group Commander and Wing Commanders (USAFA 93') endorsements..
To be honest I'm just wondering why I haven't gotten accepted to at least
the Prep school since they took all the trouble of flying me out there to see it. Lol
Additionally, my package that they reviewed to see if I was a competitive
candidate did not include my Group Colonels LOR nor my wing Commander who is a USAFA Grad..

Any info will be helpful, thanks!

I didn't find out until late April.

I'm in the same boat man. On the academy admissions facebook, they posted that us enlisted probably won't find out until late April. We are probably the last to be looked at, since we mostly are not in a time crunch like the people coming from high school.

AFrpaso- Did you get a non select letter for the Academy?

NimikAF--Yeah man this wait is killing me lol I follow the Admissions page but I didn't see the part that said we found out around April? I was hoping for some news today as well but still no word!

For some reason there were a couple of ANG and AR people who got a slot for the prep school a few weeks ago. So it's possible that some enlisted prep slots will be given in the next few weeks. But, I hate looking everyday. I can't help it...
