I got a mild concussion from soccer this past october. I was out of school for a few days but other than that I suffer from no issues. I had no black outs, hallucinations or anything of that sort. Will I have an issue with dodmerb because of this? I was awarded a 4 year AROTC scholarship so I am just worried about not being qualified.

FWIW DS had a history of two mild concussions and was
DODMERB approved (2011).

DS had a couple concussions on his application and they did ask for additional paperwork but it was not a problem to get approved.

DS also had this issue. Just write down all the info on the medical history form. Doctors seen etc. Treatment, which is most likely rest and no activity. It will ask if the treatment resolved the symptoms, which it sounds like it did. There is an extra form that will pop up on head injury which is just more of the same. DS had no probs passing, although I was nervous. As an aside, He now wears a Full 90 headgear for all soccer games and practices involving contact.
