DS is finally getting info from his CULP cadre. Interstly enough the leader for his AROTC CULP mission is an AF 03. Did not know that they did that. I told him the cross service interaction will be a great benefit to him.:thumb:

No issues at all for my DS with AF leader last June 2013. Don't be surprised if something changes though, something as in anything is possible. DS CULP cancelled last minute and given list of new choices to rank. Reassigned last minute but to none of the choices on the list.:shake: Off you go to an entirely different continent. CULP pay happened several months into 2014.

Surprisingly, lots of different cadre come on board for CULP. Of the 4 team leaders on my mission, only 1 works for ROTC. 1 is AF, and the other 2 are army nco's stationed in AFRICOM.

CULP is actually funded by State Department money so it makes sense there is some joint cadre.

Thought these were very interesting reads about our cadets who are overseas.

How often do they post articles like this?

From what I gathered, this year each team assigns one cadet as their public affairs person and they are the ones that put together articles to post on that site. I think they are encouraged to post once per week, but I'm not completely sure. I think our teams have been posting about once at the end of each week.

CULP Cadre

One of the goals of the Cultural Understanding and Language Program is to train Cadets to work in a JIIM (Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational) environment. What better way to emphasize this tenant than to have all services and components serve as Cadre. The program used over 20 Air Force, over 5 Navy and Marines, and over 70 National Guard and US Army Reserve personnel as Cadre this summer. No issues at all.
