Updating activities

Is it possible to update my candidate activities later in the process? If so, what is considered "significant enough" to update them on?

Yes, it is possible. If it's a school activity or leadership position, your guidance counselor should validate it for you. If it's outside school, you'll need objective proof i.e. certificate, receipt, award, etc to email to the RD. Significant updates include, but are not limited to: leadership position, awards, sports (like qualifying for states), new volunteer activities, etc.

Sending in updates shows a proactive nature, which is good.

Yes. My DD just emailed a her admissions counselor and attached a copy of an academic award. Counselor responded that she added it to her file. Best of luck.
