Contract marriages

Sooooo, the article is saying that some Americans do illegal things to get more government benefits.

This isn't much different from most of the BOGUS DISABILITIES that are granted except they are Tax free.:rolleyes:

The BAH and BAS these soldiers receive from these "Contract Marriages" is Tax Free as well. Add to that the free medical and base privileges and it adds up to quite a bit of money. Sounds like CID needs to start trolling Craigslist. If you really want to make your head spin, take a poll of how many new enlistees got married just before shipping to BCT.

The thing about it is that it appears to be all legal. In other words, it is ethical and the moral component is lost. The same for those who justify their disabilities that would have happened in normal life outside the service. I bet that most people would be in worse physical condition in the outside world but the system allows every hick cup to be documented with a potential claim-morality is lost or never attained.:unhappy:
