I agree zrx the OP needs to think about this and he should discuss it with not only the cadre, but also his folks.
AFROTC and ADAF are two different worlds, except maybe the BS that you have to put up with.
I would also suggest reaching out to someone that graduated from your detachment , especially if they are in the same AFSC that you wanted.
~ At our DSs unit every cadet as a 100 was set up with a 300 as a mentor/confidant. If they do that at yours than your mentor would probably be AD by now. The only ones that may not be in their field yet would be rated, however they are probably on casual status. Our DS received many messages via FB during the time he was at UPT from cadets that he mentored asking for advice and guidance. His mentoring in essence did not end when he graduated.
Honestly, even if you disenrolled today, you would still be on the hook and maybe even in a bigger predicament than just financial. You probably have registered for spring classes already. Check with your bursar to see if the revocation will lock your account. That might mean they will drop the classes your already registered for, and by the time you fix it your classes may be full and now you are scrambling for the classes you need to stay on track for graduating May 2016.
~ I know with my 3 kids that when they hit their junior year the classes are offered less frequently for their major. IE for our DS several of his higher level courses required a lower level class. The higher would only be offered 1x a year. Hence, if that class is only offered in the spring, and you get locked out you could land up having even bigger problems than just the debt come spring.
Take deep breaths and approach the decision logically, not emotionally.
One other option you might want to also talk to the CoC to see if maybe they will allow you go Guard. This will allow you do move on with life, but not get hit with the bill.
