I recently attended an informational seminar in my region. The Lieutenant presenting said that USNA super-scores candidate ACT/SAT (Which I knew and understood.) He then went on to say that they only take your English and Math scores. I was wondering which one is true, or if that's their definition of super scoring. Just need clarification, thank you.

I think they are only referring to the fact that USNA disregards the SAT writing component, and only looks at the CR and Math (USMA looks at all three).

From what my DS understanding, they super score the English and Math from both SAT and ACT.

For the SAT, they take your highest math & highest reading scores. They don't look at writing. That's the superscore from what I understand.

TS20, yes they only consider the Math and English scores. And also from the forum I read that they weight the math score more than the English.

USNA takes the Critical Reading/English and Math portions from either the SAT and/or ACT and from different dates...for example....

A candidate scores 800 on Critical Reading and 600 on Math on March SAT. The same candidate takes the April ACT and scores 24 on English and 36 on Math. The result would be an equivalent 800 score on both Critical Reading/English and Math (800 SAT March, 36 ACT April).
