Best Phone Call Ever

Just thought I'd share that yes indeed, all the essays and interviews can pay off. Got a call Monday night from my Representative congratulating me on meriting nominations to USNA and USMA. Best phone call ever. That one call validated all the work I've done over the past few months.

Keep your head up all. You've got this. Your day (errr, phone call) will come soon.

Now on to the hard part, the big kahoona, the grand-daddy of it all: an appointment.

Congratulations JakefromWisco! I remember how excited our DS felt when he received his nom phone call the same day he interviewed. He's a firstie now and looking forward to commissioning in May. Good luck on this next step, waiting for the BFE!

Nice, Jake! Congrats! I know the feeling... woke up feeling anxious and miserable one morning but thought I'd check my admissions portal for USAFA, and there it said I had been nominated! Completely turned my day around! I feel like it makes it a teeny bit easier to wait to hear from the Academy

My DD got a phone call yesterday afternoon from her MOC. The letter with the nomination arrived last week but he took the time to call her personally and congradulate her !
She was on cloud nine all evening
It really is something when you get to watch all of your child's hard work & late nights pay off !
Could not be more proud of her!
