Ive already started an application for the school year 2019 and was just curious as to what you guys think my level of competitiveness is.

HS GPA: 3.3
No Class rank. Guessing Top 20%.
SAT: Critical Reading-590 Math-590 Writing-570

Taken all IB courses such as math, science, english, and history.
Varsity athlete in Lacrosse, indoor track, soccer, cross country. Captain of the lacrosse team and lettered in all sports.
  • Scout Memeber
  • JROTC
  • Honor Roll
  • Church Group member
  • Ecology Club VP
College GPA: 3.0
Environmental Science Major (STEM)
ROTC Cadet
Ranger Challenge member

Let me know if I'm missing anything. Thank you.

Read the "What are my chances thread"

I think we should have them removed and have a private message sent with a link to that thread. "Chance me" is very redundant

Work on that GPA, it's low. And the act scores are below average

I assume you are already enrolled in college and are participating in the AROTC Program.

By all means continue your application, but you should also work on your college GPA. How are your current APFT scores?

Make sure you are participating fully in ROTC and watch closely the changes in ROTC that are coming. You chances of getting an appointment to the USMA are honestly low and ROTC may become you only option. Work to stand out in ROTC so you give yourself an opportunity to Contract, unless you are on scholarship and already contracted.

Working on your GPA and keeping your APFT scores high will keep you in the running for Active Duty
