The movie Joyeux Noel (2005) was inspired by the Christmas truce of 2014. This season, Amazon prime members can stream it for free. We ordered it two years ago as a Netflix DVD, thinking from the title that it was a warm and fuzzy Christmas movie. I left the room when I found out it was about the Great War, but I kept coming back. I am glad I watched... sobering but gripping.
