My son chose a private college actually that is way out of my price range. The college meets him with room and board as a scholarship winner. I should have to pay nothing as even books are included. Your choices of schools are of course limited to those that have Army ROTCs. The private school he chose has a joint operation with another private aeronautical school.
His major is Environmental Engineering/Science
He scored 27 on SAT and was unable to retake to improve before board time.
He has a GPA 3.89 unweighted with AP and dual college classes. 4.3 weighted
Battalion commander of JROTC unit (125) cadets
He was not a varsity sport captain which is something they look for.
He was very active in JROTC
Orientering State champion
Lifeguard
Swam Varsity senior year in order to list a varsity sport.
