Anyone know where to find the most up to date info on GRADSO and Ed Delay programs as it pertains to YG16? (aware they GRADSO/Ed Delay are distinct programs)

I would inquire through the HRT at your school. Mine seemed to be the best source of info for us on this stuff or at least knew who to contact at USACC for the most up to date info.

GRADSO ended in FY14. Unless they've started offering it again, this program is no more.

Already exhausted that course of action. Getting stonewalled on emails and calls. Currently on LOA abroad for the year so can't just pop in at the office either.

Gotcha, thanks for the heads up.

Anyone know how to access info on Ed Delay program?

Yep, talk to your Cadre and your Battalion HR, seriously they will have the most up to date info.

Look, I've already made it clear my POC isn't responding on this one, and not without reason, I'm technically currently not a Cadet, I'm on the other side of the Pacific, and they're in the midst of dealing perhaps largest shakeup in the modern history of ROTC, as well as a massive personnel cut across Cadet Command.

And I get it, frankly speaking, my concerns aren't mission critical. If I remain uniformed about the Ed Delay process and commission in Winter '15 its not going to adversely effect the battalion's core mission of providing 2LTs, that's the reality.

That said, I'm simple asking for info from people here who might also have access to this info, along with the necessary bandwidth, and the willingness to put up a quick explanation/link, because I believe that pursuing a graduate degree earlier in my career will allow me to more effectively serve in my anticipated branch, and ultimately provide more value added to DoD.

tl;dr - Battalion (understandably) incommunicado, just hoping somebody is willing to take the time out of their day to fill me in

Uniform 419 - I may have answered this question on the Student Doctor Network Forum

Use CCR 601-13-1 - You can get this via a google search. Use the checklist to gather your documents-submit them to your Cadre. My former cadet was a 2014 ED Delay and used the 2013 version. The list of eligible degrees for delay is also likely in one of the appendices of Cadet Command Regulation 145-1 or CCR601-13-1. You can get that online too. Google 'army educational delay appendix M' Review the results from CCR601-13-1.

Good luck. If you have a crappy HRA and Cadre it will be difficult.

AR601-25 is the relevant Regulation. Go to www.armypubs.army.mil

Everything we get in regards to this information will start with the same Google searches you can do. That's unfortunate your cadre won't help you as they should, but I don't know what you're wanting from us other than to do your research for you. Nobody here has magical access. I still believe someone at your unit is the best source of information.

AROTC Parent: Thanks for the info, very much appreciated.

Bull: All I was looking for was something along the lines of what AROTC Parent provided, might've come up on a google search, but in this corner of the world I've only got access to bing and yahoo, and can't get direct access to .mil sites to check pub #'s either.

Anywho, have the info needed now. Again, thanks to AROTC Parent.
