Let's say you were a National Merit Scholar, had a 2350 on your SAT, were captain on your wrestling and cross country teams (where you won state), attended Boys State, you were President of your senior class, and you nearly maxed out all phases of the CFT.
Are you guaranteed admission? No.
Are you competitive? Absolutely.
What benefit is that to you? You should be high on the NWL where they will take the top 150 by WCS if for some reason another candidate in your district had similar credentials but also happened to win the appointment from that slate (maybe because she was a Primary Nominee).
The feedback from your FFR should encourage you. You just need to remain patient! You'll know soon enough.
Oh, and BTW, RA might be offered NAPS rather than a direct admit. NAPS appointments are not considered to fill an MOC slate (until the NAPSTER gains regular admission, where they must have a nomination and they potentially could be charged against the MOC).
