Academic Life After West Point

Can anyone enlighten me about graduate school after West Point? In the Air Force Academy, I believe if you graduate at top ?% of your class and qualify for all the graduate school requirements, test scores, acceptances, etc... the Air Force will send you to graduate school (correct me if I am wrong, people always tell me different things). Does West Point have a similar system? If so, does your Army commitment change (years, etc)? Thank you!
 
You'll get a better response having this thread moved to West Point. On this thread you'll get a lot of "I don't know about West Point, but at the Coast Guard Academy...." or that's what I'd say. HA!

For West Point, going to a graduate school right after graduation is limited to medical school (upto 2 % of graduating class) and scholarship winners (i.e Rhodes, Marshall, and etc.). After that, with minimun of two years of commissioned service, you can apply to attend law school to become a JAG officer. After that based on your assignment requirement, usaully after 8 years of service, the Army will send you to a graduate school. Not sure if it is still active or not, but there was a program when you sign up for additional service obligation, the Army will send you to a graudate school.
 
You can always take courses and even get on a graduate school track on your own.
