I go to a Catholic school. I have the option to take Honors religion my senior year, and plan to do so. Does West Point regard these classes as any other honors class, or does the fact that it is religion, and most other candidates don't take it, diminish its value at all?

Take something else honors instead

I'm sure you have to take a religion class every year at your school so why not take it as honors if you the option.

Take the honors religion class. I went to a Christian school as well and had the opportunity to take an Honors Ethics class for my religion requirement during Junior year. It was one of the most interesting and best classes for me as personal development. Look at the class in that way. By the way I'm currently a Plebe.
