What Does This Letter mean?

Good afternoon, I received a letter in my cadet portal about two weeks ago stating
"We have received all your application information and the Admissions Committee
has qualified your file academically and in physical aptitude."
I was just wondering if that letter was a 3Q because I already have a nomination?
 
No I took my medical and everything went great but am still waiting on the results. I have an optometrist appointment soon as well. I was also wondering how bad it is that I'm finishing my application so late?
 
You won't hear the results from DoDMERB until that optometry appointment is complete, submitted, and reviewed as well.
 
Alright and if I finished my medical two weeks ago, and have my optometrist appointment Thursday how long do you think that will take?

I'm pretty sure my optometrist clearance went thru within 48 hours; it was a lot faster than the medical portion of DoDMERB. The optometrist told me that her job is "to make sure that I can actually see," and that was it (the testing was about 10 minutes maximum). So, as long as your eyes are correctable to 20/20, the testing *hopefully* should go without a problem. Best of luck and hope this helps.

A note on the optometry check-up… for me, she also asked a lot of questions about eye health (if I've had or have certain eye diseases or problems, as well as in my family). The test also had more than just naming letters from a distance. There were some color tests and those weird dots type things. Any optometrist is probably laughing right now, but bottom line is that it's more complicated than one would think, at least for my test. Still nothing to worry about.
 
Thanks guy. You were right when you said it will only take about 10 minutes. I talked with DODMET yesterday and they said that as long as everything checked out my paperwork would be sent through almost immediately.
 
I finished my medical and optical months ago and was deemed qualified and got the same letter.
