NROTC MO board today?

Hey guys. I was under the impression the MO boards already met, but my OSO has told me there is a board that meets March 4th (today). Has anyone heard anything about this? Thanks!

Its likely that the winter storms this year put some boards back a few weeks.

Ah, that makes sense. I was really confused, since I heard that the 2nd board took place in February

Well it normally does. I think I had the date (or week) somewhere but at this point... no use looking for it.

No reason for your OSO to mislead you.

I suspect they moved it to today as a symbol of respect to John Philip Sousa on his birthday. It is his birthday today, right? If not, it should be. March Forth!

If anyone is keeping track, the board for the 8th MCD met 2 weeks ago. Of course the 8th MCD is based in the Fort Worth area which hasn't been affected as much by the weather--until the last few days.
