I am an Army ROTC c/o 2019 appointee and I know for a fact you will not be incurred and charges. Since she is leaving for another officership program it doesn't matter. She could have left 3 years into ROTC and been fine. On the other hand, if leaving into the civilian world I do not agree with the above posters about 2 free years. That is usually if one is unscholarshipped and does NOT want to contract their junior year. In my AROTC scholarship terms it states you have 1 full year after the signing to decide whether it is for you or not. Therefore to the best of my knowledge this means after one paid year from signing and then leaving into civilian world financial obligations or enlisted service will be incurred. If I am wrong correct me. And CONGRATS !!!
