Hi everyone.
-I am currently in my second semester of my MS1 year.
-I have a 3 Year AD national scholarship.
-I am doing well in ROTC
-I have NOT passed the PT test yet
As I understand it, to receive the scholarship and contract I need to pass the "for-record" PT test in April.
In January, I rolled my ankle very badly playing basketball. I was taken to the emergency room, no fractures. I was eventually diagnosed with a severe ankle sprain, and that it could take 6 weeks to heal. It has been more than 6 weeks obviously, and I was able to run for the first time today. It was painful and tough, as I expected, and I am beginning to worry that I will not be ready for the test.
If I had not been injured, all signs had pointed to me passing the test.
So what happens now? I see a few scenarios
1. Do you believe in miracles? I pass the test., contract on time.
2. I fail the test, I get another try next semester
3. I take the test over the summer at CIET, contract on time.
4. Fail the test, lose the scholarship.
QUESTIONS
-Which of these are most likely?
-How does "profile" come into play?
-What must I do to contract on time?
Thanks for your help, please ask any questions for context, I will be monitoring the thread.
