In trying to answer the question of how big the wait list usually is, I went searching for the Common Data Set which is where you find that info for colleges. I was unable to find a CDS for USNA . I thought all colleges were required to report a CDS.
I have seen posts about previous years having anywhere from zero to 31 admittees (but usually very few), however, I have yet to see anybody give an idea of how many make the list.
UVA last year put 5500 kids on the wait list and only 42 got in. Are the USNA's numbers as abysmal?
Let's say an average of 10 get in. Is it 10 off of a 100 person list, or a 1000 person list?
