Does anyone have any favorite or particular push-up routines that can be used to prep for CBT? Forget the running and sit-ups and all of that please, because I already have to do different workouts daily for track, but I simply want to formalize my push-up routine more. Thanks.

My tennis coach used to have us do a "push-up pyramid". Start at one push up, rest, then do two, etc., all the way up until 15. Then go backwards: 14, 13, etc. It doesn't sound like a lot, but when you add it up it comes to 225 push-ups!

Try for 2 weeks doing:

10x- sets
Max push-ups
15 Dips
30 crunches
10 pull-ups

Do it every even day (mon, wen, fri)
And on odd days do at least 200 a day. Rest on Sunday. After 2 weeks rest a few days then test your max push-ups.

This sounds appealing and simple. I'll try it out.
