I am currently a freshman at Tulane University, joining the NROTC as a College Programmer in the Fall of 2015. I applied previously for the National Scholarship pool and went through DoDmerb, in order to not have to go through it again I need my paperwork from it, is there any way to get my paperwork from DoDmerb? I looked online and can't find any way to do so.

If you reapply for the scholarship, your DoDMERB file will be active since it's less than 2 years. NSTC will ask for the info. DoDMERB will ask for an update on your health via a Present Health Questionnaire form. When you get to your unit, the admin will also have forms for you to fill out. One of the forms will have something on it about an active DoDMERB file.

My son did the same thing this year. He was awarded the 4 year National Scholarship in December.

Good luck

This sounds correct to me. As a college programmer you should only need to complete a form similar to a high school sports participation physical. You should be sent this over the summer by the unit's cadre. You did let the cadre know you were coming?

Did someone tell you that you need to send the DoDMERB information or was this an assumption you were making?

I have been speaking, and working on the paperwork, with a LT from the unit and he mentioned I'd have to go through DoDMERB, when I mentioned I had before he said I need to try and get any paperwork from it saying that I passed

I don't believe you need it until you contract, but if you can get it, it might help things along. ZTry contacting the DoDMERB help desk and also post this in the DoDMERB forum. Someone there might be able to point you in the right direction. By definition, someone with the proper authority can get the information.
