CFA at SLE

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what day of SLE the CFA is administered? Also how is the CFA administered at the program? I understand and have read up on the procedure in which the CFA is given, but I was unsure how they did it at SLE because there will be about 500 candidates at a session. Do all the candidates do it at once? I would greatly appreciate any information.
 
Historically, the CFA was Sunday morning early (depending) the day after you arrive. Yes, all 500ish go through by platoon with multiple graders for each event to keep it moving. Platoon start times are staggered so not all 500 try to start at once.

I'm SLE cadre this year, and yes, it will be Sunday morning. It will likely start very early in the morning so all 500 will be finished by late morning. You'll go through the stations with your squad more or less

Do you know what type of surface we will be doing the shuttle run on? I was wondering what the best type of shoes to wear would be so I don't slip?
 
No you can retake it after (on your own)

However, poor performance due to a lack of motivation could reflect on your chances - your squad leaders will interview and provide an assessment of you as well as the RCs being in attendance watching.

Yeah it'll be inside the field house most likely! Running shoes should be fine as long as they're not too worn out. The mile will be done outside as a shorter version of the APFT track
