SAF, for those of you so inclined, I'd ask you to keep one of my classmates in your thoughts and prayers today.

My friend has been throwing up for 3-5x or more, almost every day since January. He has lost almost 30 pounds and is honestly a shadow of the fun-loving kid he used to be. The doctors have absolutely no clue what it wrong with him, or how to alleviate his pain.

Yesterday, he was rushed to the hospital for more testing after nonstop vomiting. He hasn't eaten anything in days. They're testing him more today. Depending on what they find, he's likely to go to one of the big children's hospitals, like Boston's Children's or St. Jude's.

So please, please, keep my friend in your thoughts and prayers. In a small town of less than 1,000 and an even smaller school, this is hurting us all really badly.

Thank you everyone.

Will do, I hope and pray the Docs are able to figure out and solve what's wrong and everything turns out well.

Of course.

Thank you for your thoughts guys. Sadly, his condition started to deteriorate around dinnertime. Things aren't looking too good right now; last I heard he's in critical condition. I'm praying that they'll be able to figure out what's wrong, and soon.

Tonight I will send thoughts & prayers for your friend, his family and you too. Hang in there!

Oh that poor guy! How awful for him and his family. I sure hope they get it figured out and he returns to normal soon. Please keep us posted.

God is good.

After testing, they finally figured out what was wrong. I won't go into specifics to try and protect his privacy but they have figured it out. He does have a disease, and will have to continue to receive treatment for the rest of his life, but he should be able to live a fairly normal life.

I am very thankful that they were able to save him last night, because he really was close to death. But where there is life, there is hope and he fought through!

Thank you all so much for all the kind words these past couple of days. I'm honestly blown away by the kindness of strangers. Really, thank you all.
