Where would you take the test?
I heard there are people who actually cheat on their PT test. Is that true? For Navy Option, we had a Physical Education teacher administer the test. DS had to bring the scoring sheet with him to his interview.
Not clear how one could do that since it's monitored. I suppose it's possible the monitor wouldn't be good at checking form, but that would only apply to Navy Option. Since a Sgt is monitoring the Marine Option PT i'm certain their monitoring of form is accurate.I heard there are people who actually cheat on their PT test. Is that true?
I know this person who ended up not getting the scholarship but he had a friend who was a coach and he didn't actually do the physical fitness test. The coach just signed the paper. Not clear how one could do that since it's monitored. I suppose it's possible the monitor wouldn't be good at checking form, but that would only apply to Navy Option. Agreed. Good thing we aren't friends anymore.I know this person who ended up not getting the scholarship but he had a friend who was a coach and he didn't actually do the physical fitness test. I'm glad he did not get the scholarship then, if that is the type of integrity he displays. I had not heard of anybody "cheating" on these tests, but I guess you have given an example of this. If somebody can't do minimal physical requirements for NROTC or any ROTC program, they won't be enrolled in the program very long. I think the Physical Fitness Test used for the application is not weighted heavily, so somebody does not need to kill it to get a scholarship. With that in mind, it makes me sad to think somebody would feel the need to cheat on it.
