Class ranking matters, so it depends on how your school ranks you in your class. Is the College Prep A a weighted class? In my DD's high school, the more AP courses you take, the higher possible class ranking, because her school uses weighted classes in their calculations. She also took Psychology and Government at a local college in the summer, which doubled as satisfying high school/state requirements and bumping her gpa since they were weighted.
