Extra-curricular Activity added out of nowhere?

Hello, today I just opened my portal and for some strange reason, on my extra-curricular activities, Martial Arts Blackbelt was added. I never added that to my profile, and have never participated in that activity. Do I simply contact admissions to remove it? Also it shows up on my CAR which was submitted on August 3, and Martial Arts Blackbelt was added out of nowhere today. Thanks for the help.

Also to update the CAR, doesn't my counselor have to send a verified letter to admissions? How did this get added to my CAR? I've never done Martial Arts, and/or added it to my profile.

Just contact your admissions contact and let them know of the error. Is everything else correct on your portal? Perhaps your counselor got distracted and entered someone else's info (re. blackbelt), OR someone in admissions entered another candidate's info into your file. As long as you let admissions know about the error, it shouldn't be a big deal. Just doublecheck everything else on your portal for accuracy.

Thank you. And everything is accurate except for the martial arts blackbelt. I'm assuming admissions entered another candidate's info on my file because my counselor already verified my CAR back in August 3, and today martial arts blackbelt was just added. Thanks again.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Admissions accidentally adding another activity to your file?
