Great phone call from my plebe yesterday. He asked if we were going to go to church on Sunday, so, of course we are. So pleased he is continuing to nurture his faith at USNA. My question, are clothes like Dockers and a open collar shirt, or a polo style shirt (for dad) and nice capris/blouse (for mom) acceptable for services in the Chapel. I wouldn't want to be under-dressed
I saw you post your question yesterday on the MMAD sight and the storm that an innocuous question ensued. As this chapel is not people's home church you will see a wide variety of clothes. Most people wear what they wear to their home church. Some home churches are dressier, some less. Some moms (I am one
LOL like to bring out the 'Sunday Best" so wore that dress that Ive been dying to wear with a big blue anchor on it
In my experience what you are describing is just fine-you will see a range and you will be in that range. The Church is so beautiful and you will be so happy to see your plebe that all else will be secondary. Navyhoops is right-it will be packed. enjoy your weekend!!!!!
