Ok, you win again, and this is why I rarely give exact answers to vague questions on here because there are soooooo many variables that come in to play.
WP does not require/recognize AP classes because they are not available to all students at all high schools across the country.
However, the classes are valuable in preparation for college level courses. WP academic stress is even greater than “State U”. At WP you will be taking 21 units, fast passed, and using the Thayer Method of study. You will also have your military, and physical standards to maintain etc. IOCT, AFPT…..
You will be required to take Econ during your Yuk year. It is basic. But what does that mean? I don’t know who you are, the type of high school you’re attending, how competitive your district is, heck I don’t even know the color of your hair!
Econ at WP is at a college level, hah WP level, which is much higher than “State U”. Remember that 21 units? You’ll be struggling with Math, Chem (Plebe and Yuk killers) and getting your run time and pushups done too. That basic Econ class has a different complexity now.
If your AP class grade is below a B, consider dropping it, to maintain a high GPA, to maintain a high class ranking at your school.
But don’t base your education upon some guy from cyber outer space who you don’t know the color of his hair or heck lack of hair!
Grow up; it’s your discussion! And if I can detect an attitude from you here in outer cyber space, can you imagine what an upper class student will do to you? Huh, I don’t want to have nightmares tonight, so I won’t entertain such thoughts!
A good friend of mine, his son is a Firstie now. He was bummed he got his academic gold star but fell in his class rank. Go figure but then thats WP!
