Does anyone know when you receive your scholarship money for the semester? I have already received my stipends and book money.
 
Do you mean when tuition is paid? Our experience with AROTC was that tuition and fees were not paid till just after the drop/add period fr that semester. However I have seen reports on the forum that say tuition was paid before the beginning of the term in some cases. Like so many things in ROTC it is probably school and battalion specific.
 
First off, you aren't going to get your scholarship money. That money is sent directly to the school. If you are being asked by your school to pay a bill then you need to talk to your Battalion to find out what's going on.

Clarkson received their scholarship payment about 2 weeks ago from Cadet Command.

Let us know what your Battalion says when you ask them.
 
It's an army scholarship and I chose the room and board option since I live instate and I am off campus

Don't expect your R&B money anytime soon, some have waited into their second semester before receiving the first semester R&B.
 
DS just got his room and board money Thursday for the Fall 2015 semester. Still has not received stipend. He is a MSIII contracted his freshman year.

Nice, looks like they may be more on the ball now with R&B payments.
 
Because they changed the R&B option to a standard $5K per semester this year the processing should go more quickly. They no longer have to wait for the estimated cost, so you'll probably be getting your money sooner than later. So, when you asked the HRA at your Battalion what did he/she tell you? They are the ones who are going to have the most accurate answer to your question.
