My DS just completed his NROTC application and gave all the papers to the recruiter. A week prior to this he was interviewed by the local [University] commanding officer. But he got another call yesterday from the regional recruiting office. They are asking him to set up an interview with the commanding officer for the region [he is located in a different state] via Skype at the local recruiting station.
What does this mean? Why two commanding officer interviews? Did he not do well the first time locally and now the regional commander wants to interview him?
Any thoughts from previous experience?
Thanks.
