Here's a question...when they do update the website and announce the scholarship "winners," will they update everyone at once, or a few at a time?

Seems to change from year to year. A few years ago the changes would come over about three days, last year it looked like the did all the status changes at once. Last year it also seemed like they waited to make the status changes until they had sent the official letters, those that saw their status change received their letters pretty quick.

A friend of mine got an email yesterday saying that he received a four year scholarship to VMI yesterday and that the official letter was on the way.

Ok, so if we haven't heard anything by now, is it safe to say she didn't win a scholarship during the first board?

I got a phone call today from a local university telling me I got awarded the 4 year AROTC scholarship to their school and two others.

From the research I've done, it sounds like the schools aren't necessarily supposed to tell winners that they won, because it can cause confusion

Your right, a few battalions send out emails before the official results are posted and it makes everyone else that they did not get an offer. There's a reason Cadet Command tells them not to notify early.

I heard VMI had not announced anything yet.
