This one mainly goes out to objee, but anyone feel free to respond. I have been routinely contacting my AO but never get a response. Since the ea deadline, I've called her multiple times...sometimes twice a day, and left plenty of emails updating him/her. As more and more appointments get handed out, the more i need to talk to him/her. Any advice?

The Admissions Officers (AOs) certainly are/get busy this time of year, but there is no excuse for them not returning all e-mail messages or phone calls within a day or two when they're in the office or upon their return when they're traveling...you should always gets an "out of office" auto-reply stating when they're returning if they're on the road. If you're sure that you're using the right e-mail address and phone number (check http://www.uscga.edu/aolocator to confirm) for your AO, then I'd recommend contacting the Associate Director for Recruiting directly...his contact information is available by clicking on the "Recruiting Welcome" button on that same page. He will want to ensure you're getting the assistance you need and that his AOs are doing their jobs.

Just a personal question, you must work at the Academy right?

This is a common/shared account, so a few different people have posted under it since it was created; however, it's always an Admissions staff member.

Could i ask how many ea appointments are expected to go out?

We'll tender up to 45% of the total number of full appointments that we anticipate needing for the Class of 2020 to Early Action applicants...probably around 160.

There is a program for AD members to visit CGA if they are interested (AESOP). It is competitive to get into the program, and competitive to move from AD to CGA. However, each class has a couple prior service. The biggest hurdle is usually getting back into the academics, depending on how long they have been away from school.

How about internationals? Is any international admitted already? Which country members have more chance and what are minimum requirements for a international applicant

International Cadets are handled differntly through their respective governments. Not through the normal admissions process. The sending country pays for the cadets attendance, and the cost is quite huge. Each year there are several international cadets from several different countries.

If the country agrees to pay and the candidate is good what happens then? Does the academy have special preference on any international country ? Please tell me all you know
