CFA... Pass or fail?

I am a female and I took my CFA for the first time about two weeks ago. These were my scores.

Basketball throw: 48 ft
Flexed arm hang: 33 sec
Shuttle run: 9.6
Sit-ups: 33
Push-ups: 35
Mile: 6:33

I told my coach not to submit those scores after I was quite disappointed in my performance, especially in sit-ups and push-ups.

Since then, I have been very determined. I have been doing sit-ups and push-ups everyday. I've done both within two minutes and a two minute rest in between, with some more abs following once I finish push-ups.

I can now do 60 sit-ups and 50 push-ups (max for women). Also, I can do at least one full pull-up!!! Something I'm stoked about since I couldn't do ONE two weeks ago. I've been running more, and when I took my test it had been nearly two weeks since I had run... I had been on a break following my cross country season.

I also wanted to know if you think my ACT scores and SAT scores are competitive enough for an appointment at USAFA?

ACT: 29
English: 30
Math: 29
Reading: 30
Science: 25 (grr)

Also, do they look at English and math more for ACT?

SAT: 1220
Reading: 580
Math: 640

I'm scheduled to take SAT on Jan. 23rd... Is this too late?

I appreciate your help!

Most of your CFA is good some parts even excellent like your run but the sit-ups are definitely a deal breaker. And I'd definitely shoot for one pull-up. I would retake in a week or two and if you've been working on it like you said you'll be more than fine.

Suggest you practice the complete CFA from start to finish, having someone time you to stay on schedule. Just like you would prepping for the SAT.

Thank you! I will most definitely be putting an emphasis on my sit-ups!

Great idea! I'm scheduled to take it again this Wednesday, but my brother will be helping me today with going through the entire test. Much thanks!
