Happy Holidays everyone! I finally received a medical waiver today which is a tremendous a relief. However, I've heard mixed things and was wondering if this is indicative of competitiveness/appointment? I don't want to disclose too much info, but I attended summer seminar, a CVW, and have a presidential nom. Also, my dad is a grad, although I've heard this doesn't help. I haven't heard back from congressional nomination source, but USNA is my top choice. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

The common statement regarding waivers is if you are deemed competitive USNA will submit you a waiver. Hopefully that is the last Q you need and things work out! Good luck!

DS got his call from his senator on a Friday with his appointment last December. His waiver was in our mail on Monday. If the senator had been busy on Friday, we may have received the waiver first - and been in your shoes. I don't want to get your hopes too high. But think positively, take a deep breath and wait a few days....good luck!! Let us know!
