Hello... I recently just completed my application for the USNA about a month ago.. I believe I have a strong package however currently enlisted and have been out of school for 3 years..my SAT scores were in tho low 500's.. what are the chances of me getting an offer to NAPS?

Have you taken any college courses while in the fleet? Are those SATs from recent or high school? What has the Chief in admissions said?

All he really told me prior to me taking my SAT was to try and get a higher score but as it stands now...I can't do anything about the past score.. I am nervous my SAT scores may disqualify me

The last SAT is 23 JAN with a late registration of 08 JAN. Since you a returning from the fleet , it would not surprise if they did send you to NAPS either as a re-fresher or to give you a better foundation. I asked one of our current plebes about his package. He stated test scores are important but he thinks CO recommendation more important. Either way, good luck.

I've already registered for the one in Jan... however, the deadline for the apication is jan 31st ...and the SAT results won't be out until feb11... how would that work? And thank you

Future,

I am a enlisted applicant that got appointed to NAPS in October . Your test just has to be TAKEN before January 23th. Those scores would be valid . Yes your SAT scores are important . Your CO Rec is equally as important . Good luck man. Hope you to see you there . Message me if you have any questions .

What do you think helped U get into NAPS as oppose to getting a rejection letter and how were your sat scores?

As long add you take that test before January 31st (hopefully pic attached)
