3 Noms, Med Qual'd, 640 Math, 600 Writing, 500 Read, great everything else in the file.... Okay give a probability on admission to academy or prep. Thanks for candor.

Good math, CR at 500 is a problem. How many times did you take the SAT? You can still late-register for the 1/23 exam.

3 times. It's a timing issue.... Frustrating. I am signed up for 1/23 too.

Agree with Vikings although CR may not sink you. Without knowing all "the other great things it is not at all possible to chance you. Having 3 noms helps since you have more chances to win a slate, but three noms doesn't add to your WCS... so much depends on your competition.

+1 Kinnem
Hope for the best but be prepared for Plan B, C and D.

Yes, plans B C and D are defiantly in the wings. I was defiantly told by many to never close a door. The "great" things are the same things every other great candidate has under their resumes. Thanks for advice and comments everyone.

No reason to be so defiant. jk... couldn't resist.

We'd really need to know more to adequately chance you. Your SAT score is mediocre. You'd need a lot more to offset it. Plenty of kids with 1360+ CR and Math get rejected every year.

And there are some that get in. You have a chance, not the best chance, but who knows. You will find out by mid April. But in the mean time grow to love that plan B.

Thanks Maple, that's what I was going for... Defiance. Jk. I was just cutting to the chase as I have the same qualifications as 95% of the other candidates. The grades are there, athletics are there, etc... The only thing that really worries me is the damn RC score. My WCS looks good from all angles except that...

You have 17 days to practice the CR part of this exam. Really focus on the it. However even though the SA's super score, other colleges may not. Some will take your last sitting score, so you don't want to neglect the math either.

Good luck Kylar!

Not sure what sources you're using, but based on the scores you posted, you don't have the same qualifications as 95% of other candidates. Like I said, hopefully your other aspects are strong enough to make the academy want you. Are you an underrepresented minority? That could make a difference.

Waiting is the tough part, but it sounds like you are on track! Hopefully I will see you on R-Day! :)

I actually am a underrepresented minority. Does that matter Maple?

Absolutely. The academies always struggle to fill a need in various areas. If your packet compares well and is part of a diversity need, your chances are much better than a typical applicant.

And don't forget the CFA. A passing fitness test is crucial to acceptance.

CFA wasn't an issue. I maxed every event on the scale except the basketball through I missed by 10ft for the max.... That was tough to do from your knees.
