Sorry, I'm sure their has been asked and answered but I couldn't find it after searching...

Once your CFA is complete will the USNA notify you if there is a problem, if you didn't pass or whatever?

I've read that you aren't notified if you're scholastically qualified but was not sure about the CFA.

Thanks!

It should appear in your portal with the date as soon as it has been processed if you passed. If you did not pass, you will be notified of a scheduled retake.

Are you sure? I thought it was a courtesy that you BGO would highly suggest that you retake the CFA, but you are never officially notified if you passed or failed.
My suggestion would be to ask you BGO.

624mom, DS BGO give him info on CFA and recommended as many retakes as possible before 31 January deadline! Shows determination and score improvement! Good Luck!

Your portal will show that you took the CFA. It does not show if you passed or failed it. If you failed it you will get an email that says you failed it and you will need to retake it. When you retake it, and it is submitted the new test date shows up, the old CFA is gone. And it still will not tell you if you passed or failed, but you will get an email if you failed it. DS had broken his arm last spring during baseball, only had the cast off for a week before attending summer seminar. He took the CFA while there. A few weeks later we received an email that it was not a passing score. The portal showed that he had taken the CFA, but never showed anything about his score.

Thank you! So we'll take that, for now, no news is good news!
